The original Microsoft IntelliMouse was an amazing budget PC gaming option that many people swore by. Is the new Microsoft Classic IntelliMouse able to capture that same magic?

G903 it’s bad?
I like everything about the mouse, aside from the low speed movement of the sensor. Like you pointed out, I have issues getting it to track at very low speeds. I feel like I have to move it more to get it to do pixel by pixel tracking than I would any other optical mouse. I have the same issue with the laser sensor on my G602. I wonder if it's just something inherent with laser sensors as opposed to optical sensors? I also notice it when trying to highlight text when using it for office work or web browsing. At normal/higher speeds, I have no issues.
Wore down 3 of them back in the days😂
The reason small movements feel sticky is because you have your sensitivity at 1600. Lower it to 800 and compensate your hand movement accordingly. Once you used to it, you'll be aiming better. That was the the number one mistake I made. These manufacturers push high DPI, but its actually detrimental.
I'm literally using my original IntelliMouse now…. searching for a replacement as the buttons are finally wearing out… I have no idea how long I've had it but I've moved home and office several times since getting it…
I WANT THAT SHIRT
Man the old school intellimouse…. All the feels… Making me miss my Athlon Third.
Best mouse ever!
I still use my intellimouse from 1999.. countless hours of CS, Warcraft 3, Black & White, Left 4 Dead, World of Warcraft, .. still works perfectly!
play quAKE LIVE duel and come back to me
Check your mousepad and sensitivity, i also could tell by your movement you're using Windows Enhanced pointer precision. Disable the crap with normal 6/11 windows sensitivity and you will be good to go. I'm thinking of ditching my Logitech G402 prodigy to Intellimouse Pro or Zowie EC-1A. The only thing that holds me back is the weight of 105 grams vs 86 grams of the Logitech G402.
I still have and use an intelimouse … more so because im Left handed and trying to find a left handed mouse and one thats not utter shit is really hard to do, this being Ambidextrous ( the OG Mouse was anyways) . I bought a few of these years and years ago because i knew i would be needing them in the future and they at the time stooped making them ..unfortunately im on the last one 🙁
Pro is $60
in your opinion is this mouse good for browsing, surfing , working in office programms and smth like this?
Circa 2000, OEM five-packs of the IntelliMouse Optical 1.1a cost under CAD$100. The retail price was around CAD $22. Today this BS reissue goes for CAD$43 on Amazon. Mildly offensive. As an aside this is a redesign, not a reissue. The original had one button on each side, not two buttons on the left side.
replaced my deathadder with this, i love this mouse F to razers mandatory bloatware
*edit mine is the Pro version
I had one and my mom used it up to about 3 years ago when it finally died. I actually didn’t know about the new mouse or I probably would have tried to get it to at least try (g500 series is my current) does this one have the same warranty? Or did they wise up to that?
Maybe should have got pro version? Also in BFV over Dec2019 DICE did 5.2 TTK patch which made every gun shit over distance so that prob. was a factor
I have the pro version of this mouse and its very good for gaming. Top notch pixart sensor and very fast mouse feet. 🙂
2:29 mute your headset, some realy mushy sounds at the timestamp
I only use mouse for work (graphic design). Is this mouse good for it?
Do people play BFV still like several games or is it just 2 to 4 servers
Is it weird that I’m 11 and iv owned one
This mouse isn't for gaming at all. The Bluetrack sensor is hopeless for gaming, but for CAD work its where it shines.
Then again I got mine at a steep discount for fun, so I knew what I was buying it for.
To remove jitter, Use high DPI and low sens, for example in csgo: 800 dpi and 1 sens is perfect for any res and has very little pixel skipping.
i think this mouse is not worse than the original one, it's just that you became pro player in the mean time whereas before any mouse was good. you also experienced better mouse, this is why it now feels worse
My favorite mouse is Microsoft Intellimouse Optical 1.1 but it stop working. Will try to fix it.
I hope it can change polling rate
Minimum 6 buttons not 4, 8 is better to be a gaming or any mouse this MS mouse was made obsolete on purpose. Why not have 2 more buttons 4 more can be used by me.
Intellimice are okay when you can find one for a buck at the thrift. Much more? Pass.
G203 for officemouse, my mum has stolen my g pro wired when I took it to her house to do some computer fixes.
I have the original white imouse and the scroll wheel literally moves by itself
That's high DPI that you use. I stick more to 400-800 for gaming. It helps with those longer range shots on iron sights. I assume you have mouse acceleration off?
Do you think you could do a video on the intel core i3 3220
I know u probably get questions like this all the time, and for that I'm sorry. But I just got one and u haven't done a video yet. Ur my favorite channel to watch when it comes to older pc hardware, and thus this would be an amazing video for me to watch…
Just an idea please do it…
Happy holidays. XD
P.S. good luck with the COPPA stuff
so glad to see your beard is coming in again. 😊👌
🔥
I bought a Razer DA Elite new for ten dollars less. That makes a far better office mouse than either the G203 or the Intellimouse, looks aside. Still not a perfect mouse, especjally given it has no internal memory for profile storage, defaulting to RGB cycling which I hate, but other than than I love it.
They actually make an intellimouse pro with a one 3389 in it. That would fix sensor issues for sure and really improve the experience
I am 21 and I've never owned an intellimouse. However, I did repair a lot of them in highschool that had frayed cables. Just cut off an inch or two of the cable and re-solder.
I have ( the old white one) at work, ive had it for the last 9 years!
I remember the intel mouse really good but I switched to g pro
I am 22 years old, and I've never owned an IntelliMouse, so your age assumption seems to be true!
Dawid's hair reminds me of Bill Murray in Kingpin.
I think that the mouse you should have compared to is the razer deathadder bcos you can get it for the same price!
I wouldn't call 40$ a budget mouse
40$!!! That's simply too much. I bought a second hand Zowie for 15€, drilled holes in it, now it's 65 grams. I like it.
