Today I review the new USB Mic from Razer, the Seiren X. This mic is not designed for music, it’s designed for gaming, and for that it sounds perfectly fine. However, there are better budget options out there, they just won’t look as cool.

Sounds good but for 100 dollars I can find one with more features. Honestly for the sirens purposes I can’t beat the blue snowball.

i have the seiren emote but the sound quality is really bad even though i just got itt 30 minutes ago can i seek help please.
Wow the recorded audio from the guitar sounds like it was plugged into the line in.
So I do alot of work in audio, I've used a shure b52a, sm57, SM58, b91, Samson cs1, cs2, rode m5 pencil condensers, 421s, I've ran them through di boxes and mixing boards, almost always used a scarlett 18i20 interface. Recorded live drums, vocals, live guitar, di guitar, bass, you name it. I don't like leaving my compressor and interface running during long gaming sessions so I bought this. Lightest mic I've ever touched. Like I'm terrified of dropping it, but I just wanted a USB mic. Sound quality is about what I expected not using professional gear, but build is eh

hmm.. i haven't had this problem with the gain thing. i'm in a call with a few of my friends right now, i'm not noticing anything like that, even at full volume. probably because i have it connected to an audio interface via adapter for an XLR input. but even without that, when i first got this mic, i hadn't noticed any of this. regardless, a mic is a mic. i'm not looking for anything that's out of this world. Adjust expectations and its fine.
